Interior Design - Commercial
In order to provide you with the correct design services that best match your needs we do not have a "one size fits all" package for Commercial Projects. We prefer to begin the process with an initial consultation which will cover the following:
Scope of works
Your intent for the space
Design & building constraints
Proposed budget
Hourly rates for commercial projects vary according to the number of hours worked, and start at $90 per hour. Initial Consultations generally take 1-3 hours, depending on the size of the project. Travel time to the site is charged at half the normal hourly rate plus $0.55 per km traveled.
Once the initial consultation is complete your Interior Designer will compile a quote to reflect the services that she believes are required to achieve your desired outcome. The quote will be itemised, based on the Interior Designer's estimate of time spent on each service. General items that may be quoted include:
Design Brief
Mood Board
Fit-out sample boards
Schedule of Finishes & Fittings
CAD Floor Plans
CAD Elevations
Colour selections
Project Management
Budgets
Procurement of furniture, fittings, equipment etc..
Specifications Documentation
Schedules of furniture
CAD cabinetry design
Lighting design plan
3D Design Concept
The items quoted will include reasonable time spent liaising with the client, builders, suppliers and other trades throughout the terms of the project. Any additional hours that the Interior Designer is required outside the general "Scope of Works" will be charged at $90 per hour.
